  • 8 c. squash, sliced thin
  • 2 c. onions, sliced thin
  • 4 medium bell peppers, sliced thin
  • 2 c. apple vinegar
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. pickling spices
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
  • 2 Tbsp. celery seed

Directions

    Mix first 3 ingredients; cover with ice cubes and let stand 1 hour.

    Rinse well.

    Mix remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Add vegetables and cook for 4 minutes.

    Put in jars and pour liquid over; seal.
