  • 1/2 gal. sliced yellow squash
  • 1 pt. onions, sliced thin
  • 4 green bell peppers
  • salt
  • 2 c. cider vinegar
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed

Directions

    Combine the squash, onions and green peppers.

    Sprinkle with salt and cover with water.

    Put ice on top to cool.

    Let stand one hour and drain.
