- 8 c. squash
- 2 c. onions
- 4 green peppers
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
- 2 c. vinegar
- 3 c. sugar
- salt to taste
- 2 c. carrots
Directions

1Slice squash and onions into thin slices.

2Chop peppers. Combine squash and onion.

3Sprinkle with salt and set aside for 1 hour.

4Drain off liquid.

5Put vinegar, sugar, peppers, celery seed and mustard seed in pan and bring to a boil.

6Add squash and onions.

7Bring to a hard boil again.

8Seal in sterile jars.
