  • 8 c. yellow squash
  • 4 c. sweet pepper
  • 4 c. onions
  • 2 pods hot pepper
  • 1/2 c. plain salt
  • 4 c. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. mustard seed
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric

Directions

    Use food chopper to chop raw vegetables.

    Sprinkle salt over vegetables and let stand overnight.

    Next morning, drain well. Combine remaining ingredients in large, heavy pot.

    Boil for 15 minutes.
