- 10 c. shredded squash
- 1/2 c. chopped jalapeno peppers
- 4 large onions, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. canning salt
- 2 1/2 c. 5% white vinegar
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
Directions

1Mix first 5 ingredients together and place in covered container overnight in refrigerator.

2Next day, drain off liquid and add next 5 ingredients.

3Bring this mixture to boil, then lower heat and cook for 30 minutes.

4Fill sterilized jars and seal.
