- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 c. rice (uncooked)
- 2 c. squash, sliced
- 1/4 c. onion, diced
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup or 2 cans cream of chicken or 1 can of each
- 1 1/2 soup cans water
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Mix all together.

2Pour into 2-quart casserole.

3Bake, covered, at 375° for 1 hour.

4Stir well after first half hour baking.
