- 1/2 c. mashed squash
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. scalded milk
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Combine squash, sugar, shortening and salt in scalded milk. Heat to lukewarm.

2Combine yeast with water.

3Add to first mixture.

4Add flour and mix well.

5Let rise until double.

6Knead and shape into rolls.

7Let rise.

8Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.
