  • 2 c. cooked, blended squash
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. bread crumbs (dry)
  • 2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs

    Melt butter

    in hot milk, pour over 1 cup bread crumbs, mix well

    add to cooked, blended squash.

    Add seasonings. Beat eggs

    and add to mixture.

    Pour into buttered dish. Top with 1/2

    cup buttered bread crumbs and bake at 300° until firm, about 45 minutes.
