- 2 lb. squash
- 2 slices bread
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 stick oleo
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook squash and mash.

2Put slices of bread in dish and add warm milk.

3When bread is soft, add hot squash and the rest of the ingredients except bread crumbs.

4Mix well and bake at 350° for 45 minutes in a 2-quart casserole.

5Spread crumbs over top and put back in oven and brown.
