- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 stick oleo
- 2 medium potatoes, cubed
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 pkg. frozen squash or 4 c. sliced fresh squash
- 1 qt. chicken broth
- 1/2 c. half and half cream
Directions

1Saute onion in butter.

2Add remaining ingredients.

3Cook until mushy and tender.

4Puree in blender and pour in pan; add 1 cup cream.

5Heat until warm and sprinkle with cayenne pepper.

6Serves 8.
