- 1/2 butternut squash
- 3 to 4 sweet potatoes
- 1 tsp. marjoram
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 McIntosh apple
- 1 slice whole wheat bread
- 1/4 c. chopped parsley
- 1 bouillon cube (vegetable or chicken flavor)
Directions

1Cut skin off squash and sweet potatoes.

2Boil water in a soup pot.

3Add bouillon cube, herbs, parsley, sweet potatoes and squash.

4Boil in medium heat.

5When contents are almost soft, add 1 slice whole wheat bread and peeled apple.

6Cook 5 to 10 minutes. Let cool.

7Puree and serve.
