- 1 c. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. ground white pepper
- 1 quarter of lemon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 lb. squid
- oil (for deep frying)
Directions

1Clean the squid, removing skin and head.

2Cut into rings about 1/8-inch thick.

3Squeeze lemon over the squid, then wash thoroughly.

4Drain; add salt and white pepper.
