  • 1 quarter of lemon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 lb. squid
  • oil (for deep frying)

    Clean the squid, removing skin and head.

    Cut into rings about 1/8-inch thick.

    Squeeze lemon over the squid, then wash thoroughly.
