Sriracha Fried Rice

  • 3 Tablespoons Oil, Plus 1 Teaspoon To Fry The Egg
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Smashed And Chopped
  • 1/2 cups Cabbage Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Sriracha Sauce
  • 2 cups Cooked Rice
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt (or More To Taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 whole Egg

Directions

    Heat 3 tablespoons oil and add the garlic.

    Saute for a few seconds and add the cabbage.
  3. 3
    Saute until it is crisp-tender.

    Add the soy sauce and Sriracha and mix.

    Add the rice and saute until the grains are separate and all flavors are well combined.

    Taste and add salt if you feel the need.

    Finally add sesame oil, mix and remove from heat.

    In another pan, heat a teaspoon of oil and crack the egg carefully and sprinkle a tiny bit of salt.

    When it is set, flip and let it cook for a minute or so, if you dont want a runny yolk like me.

    Serve the rice hot with the fried egg on top.
