- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 5/8 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar until fluffy.

2Add eggs and dry ingredients alternately with milk, a small amount at a time.

3Beat and add vanilla.

4Pour into 2 x 9-inch layers pans.

5Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.

6Makes about 18 to 20 cupcakes.
