  • 3 lb. stew beef
  • 5 potatoes, quartered
  • 5 carrots, quartered
  • 3 onions, quartered
  • 1 can green peas, drained (reserve liquid)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 can corn, drained (reserve liquid)
  • 1 c. red wine

Directions

    Place beef, potatoes, carrots, onions and corn in a roasting pan.

    Mix soups and liquid from peas and corn together.

    Pour over beef and vegetables.

    Pour peas over the top of mixture.

    Add wine to cover the top of the vegetables.

    If needed, add some water to cover the top of the vegetables.
