- 1 (2 lb.) beef top round steak, cut 1-inch thick
- seasoned meat tenderizer
- 1/2 c. dry red wine
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce
- parsley sprigs (for garnish)
Directions

1Prepare steak with meat tenderizer as label directs.

2In a 13 x 9-inch baking dish, mix wine and garlic.

3Add steak; cover. Refrigerate 1 1/2 hours.

4Turn once.

5Preheat broiler.

6Place steak on rack in broiling pan.

7Reserve marinade.

8About 5 inches from source of heat, broil steak 10 minutes.

9Turn; broil 8 minutes more.
