Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 (5.25 oz) sirloin steaks
  • 1/2 lb cherry tomatoes
  • 5.25 oz baby spinach
  • None None Sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 1 None small onion, finely sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream

Directions

    Heat 2 tbsp butter and oil together in a large frying pan over medium heat. Season steak then add to pan along with tomatoes. Cook for 3-5 mins, or until cooked to your liking. Set aside, cover and let rest.

    Meanwhile, melt remaining butter in frying pan over medium heat. Add spinach and toss for 30 seconds, until just wilted. Set aside.

    To make the sauce, heat butter over medium heat until melted. Sweat onion and garlic for 2-3 mins, until softened. Add tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce and cook, stirring, for 1 min. Add cream and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1-2 mins, until thickened. Season to taste.

    Serve steaks with sauce, spinach and tomatoes.
