Steak Pizzaiola

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 None minute steaks
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 (13.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 oz feta cheese, finely diced
  • None None salad, to serve

Directions

    Heat 1/2 tbsp oil in a frying pan over high heat. Season steaks. Cook for 1-2 mins per side, or until cooked to your liking. Cover with foil and set aside to rest.

    Reduce heat to medium and add remaining oil. Saute garlic for 30 seconds. Add tomatoes and simmer for 5-10 mins, until thickened. Add basil and sugar. Season.

    Top steaks with pizzaiola sauce and feta. Serve with salad.
