  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

    Pound meat with flat side of mallet or rolling pin until very thin, being careful not to split fibers.
