- 4 beef cubed steaks
- 1 medium onion, sliced thin
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 c. dairy sour cream
- salt and pepper
Directions

1In large skillet, cook and stir thinly sliced onion in 1 tablespoon margarine until tender.

2Remove onion and set aside. In same skillet add 1/4 cup shortening.

3Add floured steak and cook over medium heat until brown and crispy.

4Remove steaks and place on warm platter.

5Pour fat from skillet.

6Stir together onion, 1/2 cup sour cream and salt and pepper in skillet.

7Heat until fully warmed.

8Pour over steaks and serve.
