- 1 1/2 pounds red snapper fillets
- 1 medium onions sliced into rings
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 x ketchup
- 1 x basil sweet
- 1 x black pepper
Directions

1Rinse fish and drain on paper towel.

2In large skillet, saute onion in butter until just translucent.

3Lay fish fillets on top of onion rings.

4Top each fillet with tomato sauce.

5Sprinkle sweet basil and pepper to taste.

6Cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes, until fish flakes.

7Serve with steamed new potatoes and vegetables.
