- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. walnuts, cut fine
- 2/3 c. molasses
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk or water
- 1 c. chopped suet
Directions

1Stir ingredients together and steam in a covered dish or pail, with cover on, for 3 hours.

2Keep water boiling.

3When done, remove from water and put or turn out on plate.

4A knife warmed and inserted between dish and pudding will help loosen it to make it come out easier.
