  • 2 lb. stew meat
  • 4 or 5 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 4 or 5 carrots, sliced
  • 1 c. pearl onions (whole)
  • 1 can tomato soup (1/2 can water)

Directions

    Place meat in the bottom of a large oven casserole.

    Arrange vegetables on top.

    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

    Mix soup and water and pour over vegetables.

    Do not stir.

    Cover and bake at 250° for 5 hours.

    Long slow cooking makes its own delicious gravy.
