- 2 lb. stew meat
- 4 or 5 medium potatoes, cubed
- 4 or 5 carrots, sliced
- 1 c. pearl onions (whole)
- 1 can tomato soup (1/2 can water)
Directions

1Place meat in the bottom of a large oven casserole.

2Arrange vegetables on top.

3Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

4Mix soup and water and pour over vegetables.

5Do not stir.

6Cover and bake at 250° for 5 hours.

7Long slow cooking makes its own delicious gravy.
