- salt to taste
- 3 peppercorns
- 1 can cream of mushroom or tomato soup, thinned with 1/2 can water
- 2 large raw potatoes, sliced
- 1 bay leaf
- pinch of thyme, parsley and rosemary

2Mix remaining ingredients in a large Dutch oven. Bake, covered, 5 hours at 275°.
