Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 2 lb. beef stew meat or steak
  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 6 carrots
  • 2 onions
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1/2 c. chopped parsley

Directions

    Place meat in bottom of casserole dish.

    Put soup mix, salt and paprika over meat, spreading evenly; mix well.

    Arrange carrots, onions and potatoes on top of meat.

    Spread soup (cream of celery) over all.

    Bake, covered, for 2 hours or until meat is done in 325° oven.

    Add catsup and parsley over stew.

    Serve with tossed salad and rolls.
