- 1 1/2 lb. cling or freestone peaches
- 1/2 c. (about) sugar
Directions

1Pare and quarter peaches and remove stones.

2Add a small amount of cold water (about 1/2 cup).

3Cover and heat slowly. Simmer until peaches are soft, 5 to 15 minutes.

4Stir sugar into hot peaches.

5Chill and serve.
