- 4 onions, chopped and divided
- 4 bay leaves
- 1/2 c. white vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 pods red pepper or 1 tsp. ground red pepper
- 4 slices bacon, cut into thirds
Directions

1Cut roast up into small cubes.

2Place venison, 2 onions, bay leaves, vinegar and enough water to cover in a large bowl.

3Soak for 3 hours.
