- 1 (1/4 oz.) pkg. active dry yeast
- 2 c. warm water, divided (110~ to 115~)
- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1 cup of water; set aside.

2Combine rest of ingredients.

3Stir with a spoon.

4Add cup with yeast and other cup of water and stir until mixed (do not overdo it).

5Cover and let stand in a warm place until dough doubles in size (approximately 1 hour).

6Stir again and divide dough into 2 units and place into ovenproof bowls.

7Place in warm place and let double again.

8Put into a preheated oven at 350° and bake for 45 minutes.
