- 1 lb. round steak
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sherry
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 large green pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1/2 c. sliced onion
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 small tomato, cut in wedges
Directions

1Freeze meat 1 hour to firm to make slicing easier; slice into thin strips.

2In small bowl, combine soy sauce, sherry and cornstarch; mix well.

3In large skillet over high heat, cook pepper and onion in oil until tender-crisp.

4Add meat mixture; stir fry until meat loses its pink color and sauce thickens slightly.

5Add tomatoes; heat through.

6Serve over rice.
