  • 1/2 pound lean beef
  • 1 TBS cornstarch
  • 1 TBs soy sauce
  • 1 TBS sherry
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 pound vegetables of choice
  • 1 or 2 slices fresh ginger root
  • 3 TBS oil, divided
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup stock

    slice beef

    combine cornstarch, soysauce, sherry, and sugar. add to beef.

    slice vegetables and mince ginger
  4. 4
    heat1 1/2 TBS oil, stir fry beef until meat loses redness (2 min)

    Heat remaining oil and add salt and ginger. stir fry ginger, add vegetables. add stock and cook covered until vegetables are nearly done.

    return beef to heat and blend

    serve.
