- about 1 lb. fresh green beans
- 1/8 c. chopped onion
- 3 to 4 slices bacon
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1In skillet, brown bacon until crisp.

2Break into small pieces. Add onion and stir until almost done.

3Add fresh green beans with 1/3 cup water.

4Turn to medium heat and cook, stirring constantly. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes. Add more water, if needed.

5Cover and turn heat to low.

6Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes longer. Add salt and pepper to taste.

7Serve.
