- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. Wesson oil
- 2/3 c. milk
Directions

1Heat oven to 475° (very hot).

2Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.

3Pour Wesson oil and milk into a measuring cup, but don't stir, then pour all at once into flour.

4Stir with a fork until the mixture clears sides of bowl and rounds up into a ball.

5Smooth by kneading dough about 10 times without additional flour.

6With the dough on waxed paper, press out 1/4-inch thick with hands.

7For higher biscuits, roll 1/2-inch thick.

8Cut and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

9Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
