Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c. fresh mushrooms or 1 small can, drained
  • 1 large carrot, shredded
  • 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 6 c. garlic croutons (you can buy them or make your own)
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Heat butter in a large pan.

    Saute the first 2 ingredients in the butter for about 10 minutes.

    Stir in croutons; add the chicken broth, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper, stirring constantly on low flame.
