Strawberry Cake

  • 1 carton Cool Whip
  • 3 pkg. strawberry jello
  • 3 c. boiling water
  • 3 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries (or fresh)
  • 2 angel food cakes

Directions

    Mix water and jello; allow to cool. Add strawberries (partially thawed, if frozen) to cooled mixture.

    Refrigerate until slightly jelled. Break angel food cake into 50-cent pieces. Mix cake with thickened mixture. Pour into ungreased tube pan and refrigerate. After 3 hours, invert onto plate and frost with Cool Whip.
