Strawberry Cake

  • 1 pkg. white cake mix
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. strawberries (frozen, reserve juice for icing)
  • 1 pkg. strawberry gelatin
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 1/2 c. less 2 Tbsp. water
  • 3 tsp. plain flour
  • 3 eggs

Directions

    Mix cake mix, flour and gelatin, break any lumps.

    (I sift mine together in flour sifter.)

    Add oil, water and strawberries, mixing thoroughly; add eggs one at a time.

    Beat a minute or two; pour into two 9-inch cake pans or a sheet pan.

    Bake at 325° for 30 minutes or until done.
