Strawberry Cake

   Bake cake according to package directions. Allow to cool.

   Mix large package of Jell-O with 3 cups water.

   Put in refrigerator until it starts to

   set. Remove center of cake, starting about 1-inch from the outer edge and cutting down about 1-inch of the cake's thickness.

   Fill center with sliced strawberries.

   Pour Jell-O over top.

   Refrigerate until Jell-O is set. Top with Cool Whip.

   Sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
