  • 14 cup caster sugar
  • 150 g strawberries (fresh or frozen)

Directions

    Place sugar an 2 tablespoons of cold water in a small saucepan and stir over low heat until sugar dissolves.

    Increase heat to high and bring mixture to the boil.

    Cook for 3 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly.

    Remove from heat and stir in strawberries.

    Set aside.
