  • 1/2 cup sliced, hulled strawberries
  • 1 pony (1 ounce) whiskey
  • 1 pony (1 ounce) Southern Comfort
  • 1 pony (1 ounce) Grand Marnier
  • 1 pony (1 ounce) lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon superfine granulated sugar, or to taste
  • 1 cup cracked ice
  • Garnish: slice of orange

Directions

    In a blender, blend strawberries, whiskey, Southern Comfort, lemon juice and, if desired, sugar for 10 seconds. Add cracked ice and blend for 15 seconds. Pour into a chilled 12-ounce glass. Garnish with the slice of orange.
