Strawberry Layer Jello

  • 6 oz. strawberry jello
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 10 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 1/2 c. crushed pretzels
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip

Directions

    Dissolve jello in boiling water.

    Add thawed strawberries and refrigerate.

    Mix sugar, butter and crushed pretzels.

    Pat pretzel mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Cool.

    Add partially set jello on cooled crust.

    After jello is set, add the cream cheese, sugar and Cool Whip, which has been mixed together.
