- 1 qt. strawberries, washed and hulled
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 2 c. heavy cream, whipped
Directions

1Reserve several strawberries for garnish.

2Press the remaining berries through fine sieve.

3Add sugar and white wine.

4Stir well and chill.

5Soften gelatin in the cold water.

6Add boiling water and stir to dissolve.

7Cool.

8Combine gelatin and chilled strawberry mixture.

9Beat with rotary beater until fluffy and slightly thickened.

10Fold in whipped cream.

11Turn into a 2-quart oiled mold.

12Chill for 3 hours or longer.

13Unmold onto a chilled serving platter.

14Garnish with reserved whole strawberries.
