- 8 c. strawberries (4 baskets)
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Marsala wine
- juice of 1 lemon
- 3 envelopes unflavored gelatine
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 1 1/2 c. whipping cream
Directions

1Wash and hull 8 cups strawberries.

2In a blender or food processor fitted with a metal blade, puree strawberries and sugar. Place strawberry mixture in a large bowl and stir in Marsala wine and lemon juice.

3Stir gelatine into hot water until dissolved. Stir into strawberry mixture.

4Whip 1 1/2 cups cream to medium thick.

5Fold into strawberry mixture.

6Pour mousse into a large glass bowl or spoon into individual dishes.

7Refrigerate overnight. Serve chilled.

8Serves 10 to 12.
