  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. white syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. strawberry jello
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. water
  • red food coloring
  • 1 qt. fresh strawberries
  • 1 pie crust, cooked
  • Cool Whip

Directions

    Wash and slice strawberries.

    Put into cooked pie shell. Save a few strawberries for top of pie.

    Cook sugar, syrup, water and cornstarch until thick.

    Add food coloring and jello.
  5. 5
    Pour this over the strawberries.

    Let set.

    When cooled, add Cool Whip and a few strawberries for decoration.
