  • 1 frozen pie shell
  • 1/2 tsp. red food coloring
  • 1/3 c. strawberry jello
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1 qt. fresh strawberries

Directions

    Combine sugar, cold water, cornstarch and food coloring and cook until thickened.

    Remove from heat and add jello and strawberries.
  3. 3
    Pour into baked pie shell and place in refrigerator until set.
  4. 4
    Top with whipped topping when ready to serve.
