  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 8 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • few drops red food coloring

    Mix half sugar with flour.

    Cook strawberries, water and other half of the sugar until hot.

    Add rest of ingredients.

    Cook until thick.

    Put in 2 pie shells.

    Cool. Top with Cool Whip and chill.
