  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 (3 oz.) box strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 c. fresh strawberries
  • 1 (9-inch) baked pie crust
  • Cool Whip, Dream Whip or sweetened whipped cream

Directions

    Combine sugar, cornstarch and water. Boil until thickened or for about 3 minutes.

    Remove from heat.

    Add Jell-O, stirring until dissolved.

    Cool.

    Place strawberries in pie shell.

    Pour Jell-O mixture over top.
  7. 7
    Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

    Top with Cool Whip.

    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
