  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. red food coloring
  • 1/2 pkg. strawberry jello (large box)

    strawberries.

    Bring water and cornstarch to boil in pot with food coloring.

    Add sugar.

    After boils, add jello and let cool.

    Stir in strawberries.

    Put in pie shell.

    After the pie cools,

    Cool Whip. (For a sweeter taste sprinkle strawberries with some sugar before making pie.)
