  • 1 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 Tbsp. white Karo
  • 2 Tbsp. strawberry jello
  • few drops red food coloring
  • 1 qt. strawberries, cleaned
  • pie shell

Directions

    Cook water, sugar, salt, cornstarch, and Karo until thick and clear.

    Add jello and food coloring.

    When slightly cool, add berries.

    Put in a pie shell and garnish with Cool Whip.

    Cool and serve.
