  • 1 qt. strawberries
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • dash of salt
  • 3 Tbsp. strawberry jello
  • 2 tsp. butter

Directions

    Combine cornstarch, sugar and salt.

    Stir in water gradually. Cook until clear.

    Let boil 2 minutes.

    Remove from heat and add jello and butter.
  5. 5
    Cool slightly and stir in berries.
  6. 6
    Pour into cooked pie shell and chill before serving.

    Top with Cool Whip.
