  • 1 qt. strawberries
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • red food coloring
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin (Kosher; Emes brand)
  • whipped cream
  • 2 baked pie crusts

Directions

    Mix water, sugar, cornstarch and food coloring together. Bring to boil and cook until it is thick and clear.

    Remove from heat.

    Add jello.

    Cool and pour over strawberries which have been put in 2 baked pie crusts.

    Cover with whipped cream.
