  • 1 c. marshmallows
  • 2 c. frozen strawberries
  • 1 (3 oz.) box strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. solid shortening
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs

Directions

    Sprinkle marshmallows on bottom of pan.

    Thoroughly combine strawberries and syrup with dry Jell-O.

    Set aside in larger bowl. Combine remaining ingredients.

    Beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Pour batter over marshmallows in pan.

    Spoon strawberry mix evenly over batter.

    Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.
