- 1 c. marshmallows
- 2 c. frozen strawberries
- 1 (3 oz.) box strawberry Jell-O
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. solid shortening
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
Directions

1Sprinkle marshmallows on bottom of pan.

2Thoroughly combine strawberries and syrup with dry Jell-O.

3Set aside in larger bowl. Combine remaining ingredients.

4Beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Pour batter over marshmallows in pan.

5Spoon strawberry mix evenly over batter.

6Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.
